Co-iLab Alumni Spotlight

Dwayne Wright, also known as Mr. Fresh, was a past participant and graduate of one of Community Innovation Lab’s youth entrepreneurship programs. During his time with us he won first place for entrepreneurship during our NEET Youth Incubator Pitch Competition and was awarded $1,500 for his innovative idea of a subscription-based platform for Air Fresheners. Today, Mr. Fresh is the proud CEO of the Fresh & Famous Inc and has recently published his biography titled “Jane and Fresh: Becoming Fresh & Famous” a tale of survival and rising above.

We’re proud of Dwayne’s achievements since being a participant here at Community Innovation Lab and are excited to see him reach great new heights with all his future endeavors. Programs like our NEET Youth Incubator (NYI) that Dwayne had the privilege of taking part in, here at Community Innovation Lab, are one of many entrepreneurship programs we have provided over the years since 2012.

We hope that it sparks a desire to learn about our shared history, provoke thought, reflection and change, which are the starting point of creating respectful, reciprocal relationships.
