Her career has spanned retail operations, health and social services, journalism, and theatre. She brings an energetic and informed approach to developing programs and facilitating groups. Cheryl is a recipient of the Ontario Federal Council Leadership through Collaboration Award, Showcase Ontario Diamond Award of Excellence, and Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat Head of the Public Service Award of Excellence. She was the Social Entrepreneur in Residence at MaRS from 2008-2010 and is currently the senior advisor to the Canadian Race Relations Foundation.
